Lucy Gilchrist - Senior Account Director
Lucy joined hanover in November 2010 and has a decade of experience in public affairs across the private, public and political sector. At hanover Lucy is responsible for the company’s energy and climate change portfolio.
As part of the Conservative Party’s 2010 general election campaign, Lucy was Head of Communications for Scotland on reserved matters and based in campaign headquarters in Westminster.
Prior to that, Lucy spent four years at FD in the Public Affairs division, latterly as a Vice President directing a number of accounts and providing strategic counsel to clients. With a particular focus on corporate reputation management, Lucy worked on major political economy issues, often with FTSE 100 companies.
A graduate of International Relations and Spanish from the University of St Andrews, Lucy commenced her career in Scottish NHS communications followed by Account Management at a London based political monitoring service. In her spare time Lucy is also Chairman of the London Scottish Conservative Club.
