Mark started working life as a scientist and holds a PhD in genetics. Since leaving research he has gained over nine years experience in communications. He spent four years as a journalist and editor on medical and scientific publications, and then worked at two major healthcare PR agencies delivering UK, European and global market access and disease awareness programmes for blue-chip ethical and consumer brands.
