12th July 2009
On Sunday 12th July a team of ten from hanover took part in the London 10km run to raise money for Dimbleby Cancer Care as part of its ongoing relationship with the charity. The course started at Marble Arch and finished at Whitehall and took in many of the iconic London sights including Whitehall and Big Ben.
First across the line was Andrew Byrne in 46 minutes, followed closely by recent arrival Lucy Meade who beat four of her male colleagues. Everyone finished the race and then retired to the nearby Sherlock Holmes pub on Northumberland Avenue for a well-deserved drink. The team raised over £1,500 for the charity.
