We are looking for a German speaking graduate with an interest in media relations to work on a major pan-European project. hanover’s work will be focused on achieving high profile media coverage for our client in all European countries.

Day-to-day responsibilities might include:
• Monitoring print, online and broadcast coverage, keeping up-to-date press cutting files and compiling press cutting booklets for clients.
• Compiling press lists of target journalists for specific news stories and events.
• Drafting press releases and media materials (for review by consultants and senior consultants).
• Selling in news stories to local journalists.
• Drafting copy and content for websites and brochures (for review by consultants and senior consultants).
• Organising logistics for press conferences and media events (for example, room bookings, invitations, speaker briefing notes, and catering).
• Compiling guest lists and sending invitations to and for a broad range of stakeholders.
• Carrying out research and drafting intelligence reports for clients.
• Drafting agendas for client meetings.
• Attending internal account meetings and drafting action notes.
• Carrying out research and drafting intelligence reports to support tenders, pitches for new business and to support sector-specific new business meetings.
• Drafting PowerPoint slides for new business credentials and pitches.
• Organising logistics for new business marketing events and activities (for example, room bookings, invitations, speaker briefing notes, and catering).
• Attending sector-specific new business meetings, updating the new business database and drafting action notes.
