Christian Hierholzer - Managing Director, hanover Brussels

Christian leads hanover’s Brussels offering.  He provides high level strategic advice to clients across a variety of business sectors and policy areas on advocacy and communication strategies and campaigns targeting EU policymaker and stakeholder audiences.

Christian joined hanover from his role as head of the public affairs and healthcare practices, and member of the management team, at Weber Shandwick Brussels. He has led a number of major international clients in the pharmaceutical, ICT, energy, financial services and food sectors. He started his 10 year career in EU affairs as policy adviser to the former chair of the European Parliament’s Environment Committee, Karl-Heinz Florenz.

A German national, Christian speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
