Four members of the hanover team ran the London Marathon on 17 April and raised almost £9000 for their chosen charities.
Sophie Goodall, Louise Cottington, Wil Barber and Natalie Todd were all running their first marathon, with money going to Kids Kidney Research, the Royal British Legion, Crisis, and Children with Leukaemia.
In addition to their individual training, the four regularly ran together on Monday evenings, encouraging other team members to join them for runs through Central London.
This marathon run follows in the footsteps of a number of fundraising 10k runs which hanoverians have completed.
Andrew Harrison, Director, said:
“We are very proud of their achievements and the record amount they raised. It’s indicative of the ambitious and full-blooded people who make up our team.”
