Award-winning communications agency Hanover today announced the appointment of Sarah Matthew as the new Chair of its Health practice.
Sarah will work with Hanover Health teams in London, Brussels, Dublin and the Middle East to support the growth and integration of the practice.
Hanover Health provides product and corporate communication, policy, advocacy, and market access campaigns for clients in Ireland, UK, EMEA and internationally. In 2017, it won EMEA Healthcare Agency of the Year at the Sabre Awards.
Hanover Health works with over half of the world’s top 20 pharmaceutical companies, as well as health technology businesses, trade associations, charities and healthcare providers. The fast-growing practice has been an important part of the Hanover Group’s overall expansion – a 25% average annual growth rate for the last four years.
Sarah Matthew co-founded Virgo Health in 2003, which grew into one of the leading international healthcare communication agencies. Most recently, Sarah served as Chair for Golin’s global healthcare practice and last year she picked up the prestigious Healthcare Communiquétor at the 2017 Communiqué Awards.

Sarah takes over the one day a week role from Anna Korving who has taken a new role as President of Northern Europe within the marketing group McCann Health.
