Hanover has launched NOWPROOFTM, a methodology for businesses looking to thrive in these uncertain times. The service will be powered by Multiple, Hanover’s brand and culture consultancy.

NOWPROOFTM brings together the combined expertise of Multiple and Hanover’s corporate communications division, to help companies supercharge their purpose and culture so that they can survive and succeed in these uncertain times.

The offering will be led by Gabbi Cahane, Katy Turner and Gary Cleland.

Cahane is Chairman of brand and culture agency Multiple, who has over 25 years’ experience backing, building and branding startups, scale ups and global corporations.

Turner, Multiple’s Managing Partner, began her career in publishing before moving to Orange, where she helped to launch products internationally. She’s had a wealth of experience in tech, including as CMO at Tech City UK.

Cleland is Deputy Managing Director of Corporate at Hanover. He is a senior corporate communications professional and former national newspaper journalist with 15 years’ experience in corporate communications.

Cahane comments: “In these uncertain times, a ‘new normal’ has been established, which presents both significant risks and substantial rewards for business. Yet, in the enthusiasm for the focus beyond the horizon, it’s easy to lose sight of the more immediate world beneath our feet. Our NOWPROOFTM methodology helps visionary leaders to not just survive the future but to thrive in it, by prioritising the present and building a purpose-driven culture.”

Says Turner: “Purpose is the ‘why’ that acts as the foundation for a high performing culture. And a high performing culture provides a powerful operating system for the organisation. Together, they provide the platform for increased alignment, agility, acceleration and achievement. That’s why culture and purpose are at the heart of our NOWPROOFTM offering.”

Adds Cleland: “Clarity of corporate purpose is the number one issue for many of the CEOs, CMOs and Corporate Affairs Directors we work with. Oftentimes this is around a particular inflection point in a business cycle. These include M&As; changing market conditions; reputational or regulatory challenge; new competition or leadership; change in strategy; growth decline or stagnation. Or it may be that they already have a defined purpose and want to take it from conception to reality. The advantage of this offer is that we can work with clients from the early stages of assessing and aligning a business’s purpose and culture, right through to the commercial & communications strategy and delivery.
