We are delighted to announce that Hanover Health has been awarded the prestigious International Communications Team of the Year at the PharmaTimes Awards.
This rounds out a triple win for the Hanover Health Communications team, in 2019, following the PRWeek Awards and SABRE EMEA Awards earlier this year, where the team picked up trophies for their pioneering work with Roche, helping to get treatment for a rare form of MS approved by NICE, and CMR Surgical, a fast-growing health-tech client that we helped propel to the national headlines.
Unique to the industry, the PharmaTimes Communications Team of the Year competition provides the opportunity for healthcare communication teams to demonstrate their competencies and skills in a practical challenge in front of senior level, experienced pharma marketing and communications professionals.
The challenge saw a team from Hanover solving a complex fictional pharmaceutical brand communications brief, in the area of autism, developed with input from a steering group comprising both pharma industry and agency professionals, to ensure its alignment to true communications challenges. Within a two-hour time allowance, the team worked strategically to develop a creative communications campaign that they then presented to a judging panel of communications and marketing professionals. Instead of focusing purely on the perceived results of a campaign, the challenge emphasised the importance of a coherent process combining sharp insights, faultless teamwork, specialist knowledge and breakthrough thinking.
