Hanover has today announced that Cancer Research UK’s policy and public affairs leader Emma Greenwood will join the Health team as a Director in October.
Emma Greenwood brings unparalleled experience of the UK cancer and healthcare environment. She has led many successful and high-profile campaigns over 12 years at CRUK, overseen the organisation’s policy development across the UK and EU, acted as a spokesperson for media and parliamentary enquiries, and led external engagement with senior Government decision makers.
In 2015 Emma was seconded to head the secretariat for the Independent Cancer Taskforce which wrote the Government’s NHS cancer strategy for England.
Hanover Group MD of Health Andrew Harrison said, “This is another breakthrough hire for Hanover as we continue to grow in the UK and internationally. In these uncertain and fast changing times, Emma will bring fresh insight and firepower to the sure-footed advice and smart thinking clients need.”
Emma Greenwood said, “I am delighted to be joining the fantastic team at Hanover Health. Continuing to advocate for UK patients to have access to world-class healthcare, and for a flourishing life sciences sector, will be at the heart of my approach and I am looking forward to bringing my experience to this role.”
