We are delighted to announce the appointment of broadcaster, commentator and strategic communications expert Guto Harri as Senior Adviser.
One of the industry’s most respected figures, Harri will provide senior counsel to Hanover’s roster of blue chip clients in Europe and Middle East.
Guto spent 18 years as a reporter and presenter at the BBC, with foreign posting to Rome and New York and more than a decade covering British politics. Having been Chief Political Correspondent he left to become the Spokesman and Director of External Affairs for Boris Johnson in his first term as Mayor of London. From there he helped restore the reputation of NewsUK as Director of Communications and Corporate Affairs and spent the last two years as Managing Director of External Communications at Liberty Global, one of the world’s largest media companies and owner of Virgin Media.
He is now a Contributing Political editor of GQ Magazine, and a Director of S4C television and The Hay-on-Wye Literary Festival.
The appointment comes at a period of significant growth for Hanover, which achieved 25%+ growth in 2017 for the fourth year in a row, particularly driven by new clients wins in the TMT sector such as Facebook, Apple and Viacom.
