Alison Woodhouse

Associate Director

Alison provides strategic political and public affairs advice to Hanover’s energy clients.

In her previous role at Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC), Alison helped guide the Energy Act 2013 through Parliament, and worked in a number of strategic policy and evidence roles, including on renewable energy.

Her experience in the public affairs sphere includes working as a parliamentary adviser at Natural England and in the corporate partners’ team at an environmental charity specialising in stakeholder engagement. Alison began her career working at Defra and for an MP in Westminster.
