Archie has more than thirty years’ experience of working in finance and corporate affairs. He had jobs in stockbroking firms in London, Hong Kong and Melbourne whilst obtaining a degree in Classics at Keble College, Oxford. He then qualified as a solicitor with London law firm Norton Rose in 1993 (including 6 months in the firm’s Hong Kong office) before being seconded to Charterhouse Bank, where he worked for two years.
He has since spent more than 20 years in financial and corporate communications, including 11 years with Bell Pottinger and was managing director of Bell Pottinger Middle East from 2014 until the business was acquired by Hanover in 2017.
Archie has advised many corporations and individuals on their corporate communications and reputations, including media training, narrative development and set-piece events, including such companies as APICORP, Abu Dhabi Airports, Aldar Properties and Mubadala. He has worked on a wide range of M&A and other corporate transactions in both the UK and the UAE.
