Gary is a senior corporate communications professional and former national newspaper journalist with 15 years experience in media, corporate communications and issues management.

He has designed and executed corporate reputation campaigns for brands and organisations including Barclays, Diageo, Samsung, Kimberly-Clark and Yahoo!. He has provided senior communications counsel to organisations including the Commonwealth Games Federation, Lord Chris Smith’s Task Force on Shale Gas, the Global Alcohol Producers Group and the Scotch Whisky Association.

Gary has developed crisis preparedness, management and response programmes (including crisis manual development, scenario training, executive preparation and response management) for clients including Channel 4, Guinness World Records, American Express, The Shard and Schlumberger. He has media and issue-trained senior executives from major businesses including Manchester City, Total, Disney, Microsoft and Virgin Media.

A former national newspaper journalist, Gary was previously a news reporter at The Daily Telegraph. Prior to that he was Chief Reporter at The News, Portsmouth.
