Josh has been an Associate at Hanover since 2007 providing political and strategic advice to a range of different clients including Lockheed Martin, work with the MoD’s Service Complaints Commission, the Government of Alberta and the Royal British Legion.
He is currently providing strategic political advice to EADS UK, including assessment of future direction of UK defence procurement policy and analysis of key leaders within HMG and development and communication of key strategic themes. Prior to working at Hanover Josh was a Special Adviser to John Reid MP, Defence Secretary 2005-2006. He was responsible for provision of policy advice across a range of subjects including strategic consequences of climate change, energy security and international terrorism. He provided advice to the Defence Secretary on planning for Helmand Task Force deployment, contributed to drafting of 2005 Defence Industrial Strategy and helped develop the case for the disposal of Chelsea Barracks.
