Stefan’s role as Trade Consultant at Hanover is to provide a strategic perspective on the FMCG trade market for clients, to help grow Hanover’s client base and drive trade marketing efforts.
He has over 10 years’ experience working in the FMCG sector, focusing on convenience retail and communicating key messages from big brands to independent retailers. Prior to joining Hanover, Stefan was Head of Product at Newtrade, a business-to-business publisher focusing on the convenience sector. During his time there, he was tasked with helping customers take advantage of Newtrade’s route-to-market for brands seeking to work with energised independent store owners.
This role followed two years as Head of Digital at Newtrade, where he helped to deliver a new-look betterRetailing.com and newtrade.co.uk, and three years as Editor of the market-leading convenience newspaper Retail Express. He was also Editor-in-Chief of this title and Better Wholesaling, the leading wholesale-focused publication in the market.
Stefan has extensive knowledge of the FMCG sector and has worked closely with leading companies to help them communicate the value of their brands, merchandising solutions and initiatives to the convenience retail market.
