Tanisha specialises in policy and public affairs within the financial services industry, with a focus on Brexit. Currently, Tanisha provides strategic political advice to a range of clients, including Goldman Sachs, Association for Financial Markets in Europe, Virgin Money and WME Endeavour.
Prior to Hanover, Tanisha was at the Association of British Insurers (ABI) where she worked across various general insurance lines and financial crime and sanctions policy, before becoming the ABI’s lead public affairs adviser on the industry’s Brexit campaign. She provided analysis on the impact of Brexit legislation for financial services and has worked closely with the Government and politicians on several issues including no-deal planning, cross-border contracts and data adequacy. She also focused on the future of financial services, examining the impact of equivalence and regulatory divergence for the industry.
Tanisha began her career at the City of London Corporation where she worked on the Lord Mayor’s international trade programme. As part of this role, she promoted the UK’s Financial and Professional Services globally and was responsible for business events for visiting Heads of State and Cabinet Ministers.
